Brandon, a 6-4 senior guard from Corona, Calif., averaged 21 points, nine rebounds, four steals and 2.5 assists per game as the Eagles earned road wins over Montana and Montana State. Brandon had just two turnovers in 79 minutes of action and was counted on to step up with Tyler Harvey, the nation’s leading scorer, back home in Cheney recovering from an injury.

Brandon opened with 27 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals in his team’s 75-69 win at Montana on Thursday, Feb. 5. Brandon made 10-fo-20 shots from the floor, was 3-of-7 from 3-point range, and 4-of-6 from the free-throw line. Eastern Washington snapped a 10-game losing streak to Montana at Dahlberg Arena.

In Saturday’s 61-51 win over Montana State, Brandon recorded his sixth double-double of the season with 15 points and 12 rebounds. He also had six steals. The win completed Eastern Washington’s first conference road sweep since the 2003-04 season, and also marked just the fourth time in 28 years the Eagles swept the Montana schools.

Eastern Washington is now 9-1 in conference and 18-5 overall. The 18 wins match the most the Eagles have ever had as a Big Sky member.
