Pronesti, a junior from Medford, Ore., claimed the singles title at the Corvallis Indoor Tennis Championship.  Pronesti, the No. 6 seed, won five matches over two days. His first match he won in three sets, 6-1, 4-6, 7-5, and then cruised to straight-set victories until the championship when his opponent withdrew. Pronesti and his partner also advanced to the semifinals in doubles.
