Tamia Hasan, a junior forward from Riverside, Calif., scored a pair of late goals to lead Portland State to a 2-0 win over Sacramento State Friday. The win helped the Vikings clinch the No. 2 seed and a first-round at the Big Sky Tournament.
Hasan scored her first goal in the 83rd minute to put the Vikings up late, then followed with her second goal less than three minutes later in the 86th minute. Hasan’s brace came in just her second match back from an injury that kept her out for six conference matches in the middle of the season.
Hasan now leads the Vikings with four goals scored this season, three of which have come in conference play.
