Kimberly Mata, a senior goalkeeper from Stockton, Calif., recorded two shutouts over the weekend as Sacramento State beat North Dakota 5-0 and topped Northern Colorado 1-0. Mata totaled eight saves over the two games, stopping three shots at North Dakota and making five saves in the shutout over Northern Colorado.
 
Mata has recorded shutouts in three of the last four games and has six shutouts this season. She now has three shutouts on the road this year to help keep the Hornets in the hunt for a Big Sky Tournament berth.
