Portland State’s Hansol Koo has been selected as the Big Sky Conference Golfer of the Week after tying for 12th place at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational.

Koo, a freshman from Honolulu, Hawai’i, opened play on Monday at the Tacoma Golf and Country Club with a 78 and followed with a 1-under-par 71. She closed play on Tuesday with a 77 to finish with a 10-over-par 226.

Koo helped Portland State to an eight-place finish. The Vikings shot a 54-hole total of 928, which included a 298 in the second round. Koo recorded five birdies in the tournament.

This is Koo’s first career Golfer of the Week honor.
