Haley Wingender, a junior forward from Henderson, Nev., had an impressive weekend as the Lumberjacks went 2-0 on the road against North Dakota and Northern Colorado. Wingender started out the weekend with a goal and an assist in Grand Forks, N.D. to help lead the Lumberjacks to a 3-0 win over North Dakota. She came up clutch on Sunday’s matchup against Northern Colorado as the Lumberjacks and Bears were scoreless for 109 minutes and 30 seconds. With the game looking like it was going to be a draw, Wingender was able to put the ball in the back of the net for the 1-0 win over the Bears.
 
That was Wingender’s fifth game-winning goal of the season and second in conference.
