Tillman, a 5-10, 190-pound senior from Houston, Texas, registered the first interception of the season for North Dakota and returned it 92 yards for a touchdown in a 13-3 victory over Stony Brook. With North Dakota holding a 6-3 lead late in the third quarter, Stony Brook drove to the North Dakota 7-yard line. Tillman stepped in front of a John Kinder pass, evaded Kinder at midfield and went untouched the rest of the way. It was the longest interception return in North Dakota’s Division I history, and longest in school history since 1998. He also had five tackles and a key pass breakup. This is Tillman’s first career Player of the Week honor.
