Soratos, a senior from Salinas, Calif., won the Bozeman Running Company Invitational with a time of 25:09 in the wen’s five-mile race. Soratos’ victory marked his second collegiate individual win and helped the Bobcats win the 11-team invitational to kick off the 2013 season. His time was eight seconds faster from his 2012 performance where he came in eighth place.
 
Soratos competed against runners from Eastern Washington, Idaho State, Montana, Northern Colorado, Utah State and Utah Valley. With the win at the BRC Invite, the Bobcats jumped five spots in the latest regional poll to eighth place in the Mountain Region.
