Big Sky TV is up and running for the 2009-2010 season. We are thrilled to have a new partner in B2 Networks. The conference, our institutions, and B2 are proud to bring you more than 400 events this season. All football, volleyball and men’s and women’s basketball games held in Big Sky venues will be available free of charge.
The majority of our traffic comes during the exciting football season on Saturdays. To help you have an enjoyable experience on Big Sky TV, here are some tips:
If you haven’t yet registered for a free account, we encourage you to do so prior to the football games on Saturdays. Fans can register for their account any time a Big Sky event is live on B2. On Friday night, Sept. 11, three volleyball matches can be seen, allowing the perfect time for you to create an account, and make sure your computer has all of the necessary programs needed to display the video. Friday’s matches begin at 7 p.m. Mountain. Fans should be able to register from 7 p.m. Mountain until 10 p.m. Mountain while the matches are in progress.
Our registration process is a snap, and should take less than a minute. It will ask you for some basic information, including the team you like to watch, and if you are a fan, alumni, or parent of a student-athlete. You will create your own log-in and password information. Once you have completed this process, you will only need your log-in and password to view and event the rest of the season.
You may begin to register or log-in to an event roughly 10 minutes before the start time. During expected high-traffic times – such as before a Montana football game – B2 will open up registration roughly 30 minutes before an event. During that time, video and audio from the event may not be available. Normally, video and audio will begin roughly 10 minutes prior to an event, but it could be a bit longer. Be patient. If there are technical difficulties, it will be noted on the screen.
B2 offers support through
www.b2support.com. On this page, you will find downloads available, such as the Microsoft Silverlight. Depending on the settings of your computer, you might not be aware that you need this download. Through B2 support, you may also issue a support ticket. B2 will attempt to resolve your issues through an e-mail.
We hope these tips assist you and make your Big Sky TV experience a quality experience.
Thanks for watching!
