The 2009 Big Sky Tennis season officially came to an end last week at the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championship. Sacramento State represented the Big Sky at the NCAA Team Championships the first week of May ... Anton Stryhas and Kiryl Harbatsiuk represented Sacramento State in its first-ever NCAA Doubles Championship this year. NCAA Tournament Run Comes to an End for SAC Doubles Duo
One day after upsetting the second-ranked doubles team in the nation, Sacramento State’s tandem of Anton Stryhas and Kiryl Harbatsiuk lost in the second round of the NCAA Doubles Championship Friday afternoon to North Carolina’s Clay Donato and Taylor Fogleman, 6-3, 7-6 (3).

Making Sacramento State’s first-ever appearance at the NCAA Men’s Tennis Doubles Championship, junior Anton Stryhas and sophomore Kiryl Harbatsiuk upset No. 3 seed Neal Skupski and Michael Venus of LSU in the first round of the tournament, 7-6 (9), 7-6 (5).
