Big Sky Announces 2018 Scholar-Athletes of the Year

OGDEN, Utah (July 5, 2018) - The Big Sky Conference announces its 2017-18 Scholar-Athlete Award winners.
 
The 2018 list of honorees includes, an NCAA Team Champion, an NCAA Individual Runner-Up, two Big Sky Offensive Players of the Year, an Individual Player and  Libero of the Year, four CoSIDA Academic All-Americans, seven All-Americans, 17 First Team All-Conference performers, two Second Team honorees, and four honorable mention.
 
The following student-athletes were selected by their respective institutions, based upon athletic-and-academic performances during the past academic year.
 
To qualify for the award, a student-athlete must have a minimum grade-point-average of 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale), be a member of the graduating class and/or have completed their last year of intercollegiate athletic eligibility, have completed at least two years of intercollegiate competition and be a letterwinner in their respective sport.
