OGDEN, Utah - The 14th season of Big Sky soccer will kick off Friday, August 19.
Weber State opens the season against Utah State. The match will be played at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah. Rio Tinto Stadium is the home of the 2009 MLS Cup Champion Real Salt Lake.
Sacramento State will begin its defense of the Big Sky championship at home, as it takes on Seattle University. Northern Arizona will take on in-state rival Arizona State, as the Lumberjacks look to defend their regular-season title.
Idaho State will travel to Southern Utah, while Montana will head to Boise State. Northern Colorado will travel to Denver University for a match that counts towards the Colorado Cup. Portland State will be on the road against Utah Valley. Eastern Washington opens its season in Fort Myers, Fla., for the 5th Embassy Suites Kick-off Classic. Eastern will start the tournament against host Florida Gulf Coast.
