Big Sky Suspends MSU Player

OGDEN, UTAH (Nov. 10, 2010) -The Big Sky Conference has reprimanded and issued a half-game suspension to Montana State football player Caleb Schreibeis for fighting, league commissioner Doug Fullerton announced on Wednesday.

Schreibeis, a sophomore defensive lineman from Billings, Mont., will be suspended for the first half of Montana State’s game against Weber State on Saturday, Nov. 6. Schreibeis was penalized for throwing a punch with 5:42 remaining in the third quarter in Montana State’s 23-20 overtime victory over Idaho State on Saturday, Oct. 30.

The Montana State athletic department was notified of the suspension on Tuesday.
