Erik Rush scored 15 points with five rebounds and five assists in Monana State's win over Portland State on Friday.
The last of the conference unbeatens when down Friday night as Montana State handed Portland State its first league loss of the season. The Montana Grizzlies also got back on track, tripping Eastern Washington.
Montana State moved to 4-1 in league with a 77-71 victory over Portland State, which came in 2-0 in conference and the last perfect team in league play. Bobby Howard led a balanced Bobcat attack with 18 points. All five MSU starters finished in double figures.

Dominic Waters scored 24 points to lead Portland State. The Vikings were hurt by 20 turnovers.
Montana senior Anthony Johnson scored 25 points to lead Montana to a 13-point win over Eastern Washington. The Griz are now 2-3 in league. Freshman Will Cherry scored 17 points and had a career-high seven steals.
Freshman Glen Dean scored 15 points for EWU. The Eagles led 41-37 at the half but shot just 36 percent from the floor in the second half. EWU committed 22 turnovers.
