The 2009 Big Sky Championship participants have been identified, as Portland State will host, Eastern Washington is the no. 2 seed, Idaho State the no. 3, and Northern Arizona the no. 4. Sacramento State, who ended Friday night as the No. 4 seed in the conference tournament, was bumped from Big Sky contention as Idaho State defeated Weber State, 4-0, and advances as the No. 3 seed.

The first match of the championship will pit Idaho State against Eastern Washington at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 6th, with Portland State facing Northern Arizona at 4:00 p.m. All tournament matches to be hosted at PCC - Rock Creek, home of the Vikings.

The championship match will be played Nov. 8th at 11:00 a.m. with the winner earning the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The tournament pool will be announced Monday Nov. 9, 5:00 p.m. pacific time.
