Portland State’s Marija Vojnovic has been named the Big Sky Player of the Week for matches played the week of Oct. 26 - Nov. 2.

Vojnovic led Portland State to two road wins over Montana and Montana State to help the Vikings remain in first place in the Big Sky standings. Portland State didn’t drop a set last weekand Vojnovic averaged 4.00 kills, 3.17 digs and 4.67 points.

The senior outside hitter recorded her seventh double-double of the season with a match-high 12 kills and 10 digs against the Grizzlies on Friday. She also had two block assists and a match-high 13.0 points.

At Montana State on Saturday, the native of Belgrade, Serbia tallied 12 kills and nine digs. She led all players with three aces and 15.0 points, while hitting .379 percent.
