Catch This Weekend's Action on Big Sky TV 11/5/2009
Seven volleyball matches and three football games highlight this week’s action on Big Sky TV. All events can be seen for free on Big Sky TV.
Several Big Sky volleyball teams are in the hunt for the four berths in the postseason tournament. Northern Arizona, which currently sits in sixth place at 4-7, plays host to Montana State Thursday night at 7 p.m. Mountain. The game will be televised live on Dish Network channel 9411. Fourth-place Montana takes on second-place Northern Colorado at 7 p.m. Mountain.
On Friday night, league-leading Portland State (10-2) plays host to third-place Eastern Washington. The match begins at 7 p.m. Pacific. Also, fifth-place Sacramento State plays host to eighth-place Weber State at 7 p.m. Mountain.
Football action begins at Noon Mountain when Sacramento State takes on Northern Colorado in Greeley. The Bears are coming off a non-conference win over South Dakota, while Sacramento State is riding high following a win over nationally-ranked Northern Arizona.
Montana State, which is still in the hunt for a playoff bid, takes on Portland State at PGE Park at 1 p.m. Pacific. Montana State is 3-2 in conference and 5-3 overall. Portland State is 1-5 in conference and 2-7 overall. The game will be televised live in Montana on the Max Media networks.
No. 2 Montana can clinch at least a share of its 12th straight conference title with a win on Saturday over Idaho State. The game begins at 3:30 p.m. Mountain. The game will be televised live in Montana on Montana’s News Stations.
Volleyball returns on Saturday night. Montana travels to Northern Arizona, while Montana State is at Northern Colorado. NAU’s match will be televised live on Dish Network channel 9411.
Both matches begin at 7 p.m. Mountain. At 7 p.m. Pacific, Sacramento State plays host to Idaho State.
One exhibition basketball game is also slated to be shown on Big Sky TV this week. Portland State takes on Western Washington. Action begins at 7 p.m. Pacific.
